Our dredge outings are designed for our participants to come together and find gold. The outings are an opportunity for prospectors and their families to come out and enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship of other prospectors.
The outings offer the opportunity to get a hands on approach to learning various aspects of gold recovery. We offer at the different outings a chance to run highbankers, and dredges, these operations will vary from day to day. demonstrations that cover topics such as panning, sluicing, and general prospecting. You will have the chance to work the equipment, clean up, classify, pan and see what GOLD you have found.
We run 1-day outings where the participants work approximately one four-hour shift per day. All the gold found is split between the participants at the conclusion of the outing
The outings are also an excellent way for families to learn prospecting. With your tour you will get a tshirt, pan, and vial for your gold
** NOTE: Dredge outings require hard physical work, these outings are a lot of fun, but require moving sometimes heavy equipment, and being on
feet, and or bent over, in incliment weather, and or cold water for extended periods of time, please ask a store rep for more info
** Dredge and Highbanking outings are only available certain times of the year. The Price for this outing is $250.00 per person.
